Just finished writing a review of this, and we'll be filming it next week or the week after. Not sure that having the phrase 'new depths' on the poster was a good idea but it's certainly apt. Despite a screenplay by the great Richard Matheson and Carl Gottlieb (who wrote the first film) this makes every schoolboy error you wouldn't expect of writers that experienced. It's like they thought the 3D gimmick would sell the thing so why bother with a lucid plot or compelling characters. The ending is beyond ridiculous and obviously we dwell on that in the review, but I think what pisses me off most is the characters because it's the character dynamic that makes the first film. Did no one working on this get why the Spielberg film worked? Apparently not because these characters are just sketched in with little or no conflict and barely enough personality to share between them.
I'm not watching Jaws 4!

You don’t have to watch Jaws 4, we just want you to watch Jaws: The Revenge 😁

If it makes you feel any better, Jaws 5: Cruel Jaws is better than the two preceding entries. Haha. ;)

It's an Italian knock-off by Bruno Mattei, with some weird and/or hilarious lines, but otherwise your typical killer shark movie.

Look forward to that review. Believe it or not, Jaws 3D was the first film I took a girl on a date to. Not the best choice, but it was high school.
