Behind the scenes (Patreon)

Yesterday we returned to the Ugly Duck in London to continue shooting our Christmas Specials and record a few reviews.  Normally we shoot against a green sheet thrown up in my livingroom, but it is always great to go on location.   

As you can see, we still use a small green screen on location, this just allows to put the film Robin is reviewing slightly behind his shoulder in the edit.  We also take a clean plate so we can totally remove the greenscreen and stand leaving us with these wonderful  character filled walls. 

On a typical shoot day we record upwards of 6 reviews, but as were also shooting Christmas specials Robin had about 10 pages of text to cram into his head, which he can't do, so his script is always slightly off camera.   As the day goes on and his brain gets fried, he gets more frustrated and that this when we get the best (as of yet) unseen outtakes.
