Did you get the basic Hulu+ or the premium version? Premium is ad free, so that might be your answer. Recording therapy sessions typically only happens for training purposes, but in the United States it is illegal to record a therapy session without the client's signed consent. Judging from Victoria's reaction, I'm guessing our good psychiatrist did not do that. If I had to guess, Tyler saw how depressed Daniel was the past year at Harvard and is trying to get back his drinking buddy by breaking him up with Emily who was helping him stay sober, and setting himself up as the good friend in Victoria's eyes. Also, even jewelry experts can't tell between a diamond and a cubic zirconia just by looking at it for a few seconds in a darkened area.
