Not much to say about this episode. The punishment illusion that Pike was sent to was supposed to be Hell with the pools of acid and fire everywhere. The Talosians were all played by females to increase the alien look of them. When they did the screen test for Vina as the Orion slave girl they painted her entire body green, but when the result came back, her skin looked normal. Five times they painted her entire body green, did a test shot, and each time it came back with her skin looking normal. It wasn't until then that somebody finally contacted the film department and found out that they were correcting her skin color because they thought the green skin was a mistake.
