I love this episode so much for some reason! When I first watched it I knew that Eleanor would save Chidi. Because he is the only one on her side while knowing all the bad things about her. She just can't let him down. And I'm still so proud of her:)

Chidi got his tiger reference completely wrong. The correct expression is something like, "The problem with grabbing a tiger by the tail is that sooner or later you have to let go." The metaphor here is that telling a lie puts you in a position where you have to keep it up. When you eventually fail to maintain the lie, the metaphorical tiger will be able to turn around and maul you for grabbing its tail.
