A good little detail: The reason why the "thugs" miss all their shots is because they're not straight. Get it? LOL

The lesson in this episode? Don’t meet your heroes. Or in Riley’s case, you don’t know your heroes; what they appear as is not who they really are. This episode was a commentary on the gangsta rap culture of the early 2000s, specifically pointing out that a lot of it is a front and some of these rappers are in the closet, which was taboo at the time. Fortunately these days, the culture is a little more accepting of gay rappers, like Tyler the Creator, but there’s still a lot of homophobia. Gangstalicious is voiced by Mos Def, who I’d say is one of the more creative and inventive rappers of his era, like in the Andre 3000 range, so it was ironically fitting he voiced Gangastalicious. You would be correct hearing the Mauler Twins in this episode. As one of the most prolific voice actors today, you’ll be hearing Kevin Michael Richardson’s voice A LOT in this show.
