Funny watching you go from happy the white dude was back to wanting him as far from Riley as possible.

fun fact: the long schlong prisoner is voiced by Terry Crews. Another fun fact is that the white guy on tv is supposed to be a representation of George Bush after 9/11 sending troops Iraq to look for weapons of mass of destruction they couldn't find.

This episode, specifically the scene at the convenience store, is a heavy handed metaphor to the Iraq War. War Criminal President George Bush and his cabinet full of war criminals used the excuse that “the absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence” and “their are known unknowns etc etc” as an excuse to justify US intervention in Iraq. The “known unknowns” that the US suspected Iraq of having were weapons of mass destruction (WMDs). So Ed and Gin (voiced by Samuel L Jackson) represent George Bush Jr. and Dick Cheney. They walk into the mini mart (Iraq) to buy drinks (oil) from the cashier (Saddam Hussein). Notice how the cashier said Ed’s dad helped him build the store (George Bush Sr. helped Saddam Hussein develop Iraq). The cashier asks them to pay for them, which Ed and Gin didn’t want to do. Ed and Gin start accusing the cashier of hiding weapons and being terrorists (WMDs, Al Queda, etc). They manipulate the cop (US military soldiers) into believing that the cashier was in possession of weapons, thus breaking out a gun fight and so on. Why did Ed and Gin do this? So they could acquire the resources of course, just like US intervention in the Middle East to take advantage of the resources. Notice how the crowd cheered for them when they walked out, symbolizing how US citizens cheered for the Iraq war after 9/11. The actual killer represents Osama Bin Laden, who actually committed the crime. So yeah, dense episode. That’s the Boondocks for you
