I’ve been actually considering for some time now to start making personal 3D figures to sell as printable files. Both fanarts & related to Ramia-Yana.

Not sure yet if this business is profitable enough in comparaison to the other things (artworks, manga, making official figures) I’ve been doing. Not planning to make it replace anything either, it would more be just an extra thing.

I would definitely love to make a line of Ramia-Yana figures, and would be also cool to do some fanart ones that I know I won’t really be able to do when it comes to the licensed figures business. By now I have a few years of professional experience when it comes to designing and sculpting licensed statues, I haven’t really used much those skills for more personal projects yet.

On the Ramia-Yana side, maybe I should start off with a simpler design like Malhory before trying to tackle a proper Ramia or the more complex demons like Osumihime & Mandragloria. There is a lot to do and I would,’t really restrain myself to necessarily one pose & one face.

Back to Squigly, I don’t have a clear plan yet, I’m considering multiple figures out of the base model rather than just doing a single one. Like maybe a more regular standing one and then stuff like her butt attack or sitting pose.

Nice if you got a 3D printer you be able to print those 3 D's. Ha.

I wonder if the quality on an FDM printer is good enough for figures or if you'd need an SLA printer.

FDM are lower quality but at the same time it can look passable for bigger prints, so can be interesting compared to resin since it’s cheaper. So depends what you want.
