Vilserio!

It seems like it's been a while since we've posted any BtS updates but we come to you today with the (probably) most iconic scene in the whole fault series. All redone in HD and with proper new assets to boot!

I'm sure a lot of folks were wondering about how we were going to pull off the crash but I was able to recreate the real Nintendo Switch crash screen pretty accurately. What do you all think? =P

We need to make some final adjustments like color correction (and render the English version as well) but the whole thing looks so cool so I wanted to share it with you all a bit early.

Other updates:

MS2b is coming along quite nicely. Right now it's just buckling down and writing the story but we're currently working on new concept art and system UI design that we'll be able to share shortly.

MS2a's port should mostly be done by the end of the month! (Superfast now that it's over on Unity properly.) Once the build is done it's ESRB/CERO/PEGI → Nintendo QA and we should be able to release it right away. Pretty excitingggggggg.

The PS4 version of MS1 is still stuck in Sony's QA and there's very little we can do about it now. As they say, "The ball is no longer in our court". Stupid delays... but we're kinda getting use to it by now.

Anyways, thank you all for your support as usual. We were in the dry zone just doing groundwork (UI design, lock people down for BG art and music etc) during January so there wasn't really much to show but things are picking up quickly now so make sure to stick around for updates!

PS: We'll be doing that whole end credits name collecting thing soon so heads up. Not quite sure how I'm going to cram so many people in with MS2a's specific ending but I suppose we'll figure it out when we get there.

Have a wonderful day folks!

It looks wonderful, it's nice to see the new look of MS2a, kind of forgot it was comming, with all the talk about StP and MS2b lately. I Hope you manage to deal with everything you have left to do.

Thanks for the comment. Yeah, this was the original plan after all. To set up an environment so we can more easily port and make new games. It just you know... took forever and a half due to a lot of BS. This is just the beginning though!

I'll need to wait until I'm home from work to watch this clip. I know it will bring joyous laughter out of me like this scene did the first time. I will probably raise my tier to Triple Kravter immediately after for the credits collection. Hope you don't mind. It's great to finally hear another update. I'm holding onto hope of this vision you have with fault. Very few pieces of media get me excited enough to be a shill for, and fault is one of them.

Holy crap the wait is worth it for shit like this! Wait, yo... Yoooo, is that ...did they turn red? Holy crap.

Dan Park

From what I can tell on my mobile device, it seems like Rune doesn't turn red. Cuz she's a fucking robot.

Looks great! That Scene still gives me the chills!! ^^

Looks fantastic! Was wondering what you'd do for that scene on the Switch. In regards to having too many names on the credits screen, just have Melano nuke half of them. :P

WAIT THE GAME STILL CRASHES?????? Awesome!

fault

It doesn't actually crash, as we're 100% sure Nintendo won't let us do that (or any console manufacture really). Instead, the UI has been fully replicated in After Effects and is just a static video.

I think I laughed too loud at the error screen. Even after watching twice. 再現度ヤバすぎます。
