The game is NOT using/applying Xbox/Playstation HDR Calibration app settings.

The game has a good HDR implementation as it offers an accurate in-game Peak HDR Luminance control (even if not in nits values, but up to 2.000 nits) along with HDR Black Level and overall Brightness sliders.

If you have an LG OLED and:

> you're using Dynamic Tone Mapping or Dynamic Contrast:

  • Set HDR BLACK POINT slider to: 0 (leftmost position)
  • Set HDR WHITE POINT slider to: Max (rightmost position, which is around 2.000 nits)
  • Set HDR BRIGHTNESS slider to: +5 Clicks (from 0, leftmost)

> you're using HGIG:

  • Set HDR BLACK POINT slider to: 0 (leftmost position)
  • Set HDR WHITE POINT slider to: +10 Clicks (around 800 nits) or +12 Clicks (1.000 nits for G2) or +17 Clicks (1.500 nits for G3)
  • Set HDR BRIGHTNESS slider to: +5 Clicks (from 0, leftmost)

If you don't have an LG OLED and:

> you don't have an HGIG option:

  • Set HDR BLACK POINT slider to: 0 (leftmost position)
  • Set HDR WHITE POINT slider to: +12 Clicks (1.000 nits)
  • Set HDR BRIGHTNESS slider to: +5 Clicks (from 0, leftmost)

> you're using HGIG:

  • Set HDR BLACK POINT slider to: 0 (leftmost position)
  • Set HDR WHITE POINT slider to: the corresponding real Peak HDR Luminance of your TV in "nits" (or make the pattern disappear)
  • Set HDR BRIGHTNESS slider to: +5 Clicks (from 0, leftmost)

Enjoy :)
