The game is NOT using/applying Xbox/Playstation HDR Calibration app settings.

I initially got tricked so sorry for that...

The game does NOT support system-level HDR calibration, and HDR is off by default when you launch it.

You need to go the in-game "Graphics Settings" and manually enable HDR for it to work and then you can also access many different HDR options as well, but it seems that Peak HDR Luminance won't go above 800 nits.

If you have an LG OLED and:

> you're using Dynamic Tone Mapping or Dynamic Contrast:

  • Set Maximum Brightness to: 1.000 (Max; which is around 800 nits);
  • Set Standard Brightness to: 200

> you're using HGIG:

  • Set Maximum Brightness to: 1.000 (Max; which is around 800 nits)
  • Set Standard Brightness to: 250

If you don't have an LG OLED and:

  • Set Maximum Brightness to: 1.000 (Max; which is around 800 nits);
  • Set Standard Brightness to: 200

  • Set Standard Brightness to: 250

In all cases, leave "Saturation", "Brightness" and "Contrast" sliders to their Default values as they already represent a balanced picture.

You can also press Y on the initial brightness screen to turn on HDR. Not sure why they did it that way instead of a HDR toggle there.
