Hey peeps, it's been some time! I finished exams fine, but being honest, I wanted some time for myself after that, so I took it.
I apologize for anyone that subbed thinking I would post near the end of January,.

Here's a fix mod that I've been tinkering with for a while.

This post is public for all. Hopefully this provides some compensation for patrons that were subbed last month but are no longer subbed.

What Does it Fix?

The rogue frame at the start of the run to sprint transition, in which the character A-poses for a split second before starting the sprint animation. It's an old bug that's been around forever.

If you play on a low input bufer like me the bug is very noticeable and it irks me greatly.

A Few Catches:

I managed to fix the issue cleanly for all weapons sprint, but for magic and sheathed sprint there may be a very slight speed ramp up that lets the sprint graph buffer enough to remove the initial pose. It still looks far better than the A-pose though.

Requirements:

Pandora or Nemesis

Install:

1. Install mod.

2. Run engine. Ensure patch is ticked.

3. Launch.

Done!

The difference between this mod and progressive sprinting is that this mod is a global fix mod that doesn't add any new animations, while progressive sprinting only adds a new animation between sheathed run and sprint.

See you all around! And a big thanks to peeps who stuck around!

Is this correction necessary or is it something that corrects a global bug? In my case you can see how the running animation slows down and it feels and looks strange how the character appears to be going very fast (and without making a sound from his steps) but It goes slow and from one moment to the next it starts running faster with the same animation speed as when it was slow, I must highlight that I use the smooth animations with 15% more speed when sprinting than in the vanilla game. As a request or just as information, is there a mod that corrects the crossbow animation? because with TRUE DIRECTIONAL MOVEMENT when walking diagonally the animation breaks and the crossbow points in another direction that is not where you are walking and it looks very strange haha
