Install:

1. Install mod through manager.

2. Run Nemesis or Pandora, tick patch.

If you want to change the moveset replace the animations inside the DAR folder, not the ones outside. WristIdleMotion.hkx should be the idle animation of the moveset copied and renamed.

For users updating, rerun Nemesis.

Changes:

Sprint Assassinations! Time your attack right while sprinting towards an NPC with your hidden blades out to perform a powerful initiating kill that serves as a great opener for combat.

Killmove animation by slimTHEalien. Cannot pull these off when actively in combat or when the target NPC is essential. Your detection level does not matter for this assassination! They can see you coming, but as long as they aren't fighting you they are targetable.

Your player must be facing the target as the raycast starts from the eyes! Customize the keybind in the json file.

Lag Fix: previously the air assassination had a 0.2 second delay because I forgot to remove the transition, so you were quite literally hanging in the air for 0.2 seconds after starting the killmove. This mistake has been corrected so everything should be instant, stutter free, and butter smooth.

Child Assassination Fix: Prevented children from being targeted alongside essential NPCs. It's not a moral thing, the child skeleton just does not align properly in the killmove.

Important:

The next update is mostly SKSE and behaviour so it should be fairly mid save update safe, I'll try to make as many future updates as playthrough friendly as possible.

As this is a mod undergoing active development you compact the esp FormIDs at your own risk; I am not responsible for any save problems that may arise when I post an updated esp in the future with non ESL ids.

This is because CK cannot tell ESL flags apart and will add invalid ids to esl flagged plugins, which is a huge pain to fix on my end.

Gonna be hard to perform this kill move when they see you running up on them.. unless they some how don't suspect you're a killer

Don't worry, there's a difference between being detected and being in combat. This checks for the latter, which means as long as the NPC is not actively fighting, they are able to be targeted, even if they do see you coming.

really cool update btw quick questions are the fists supposed to be closed in first person? and hit effect fix is already activated by default right?

do the weapons have a bodyslide attached? equipped blades and distorted char's body. Could this be caused by the skeleton file included?

Sorry I am new to animation mods. Can you explain more what mod folder I need to update to get the move set to work?

weapons do not have bodyslide, they are not "real" armor, they're attached to the bone directly. The skeleton file is only for the blade object, not for the human skeleton

Run Nemesis and install OAR or DAR, fists not supposed to be closed. I think effect fix is already enabled by default, if it doesn't work you'll notice it visibly. Next update no ETA, depends on when slim finishes the animation

Controller support ? I can’t figure out how to make any of it work the json file I have no idea how to read it or what to change

I am also struggling to make controller support work. When I tried even editing the json file keyboard hotkeys I started to crash on startup as well.

Hey Monitor.. While using v1.2.2, I get a weird TCL type of bug whenever I perform one of these assassinations.

I figured out my problem.. there's a conflict with Thicc Thighs Takes Lives mod. Uninstalled that and it works flawlessly on my end

Got it working I use ocpa so my light attack is RT and heavy is RB for example Ocpa has it so LB is an alt key button so when u hold it other buttons do different things. In the json file bind game pad to 274 that will make it so pressing lb will trigger the assassination I haven’t had a single issue yet

Zak Davis is right, please bind to whatever control that attack light is mapped to on controller. I will include an optional controller config on release

So if I am not using OCPA should I still just add 274 as the gamepad command if I use Rt for light and Rt hold pull for heavy?

Yes 274 means LB so find whatever button u want to use and find its key code I can’t say wether it will work without ocpa (it should work) tbh it’s been so long since I used vanilla control scheme I can’t even remember what lb was used for just play around find what works for u

Fists are closed while in first person?? Also, my blades are only doing the basic unarmed damage? How do i fix these issues?

You perform them similar to the assassin's creed games, sprint while sprinting towards enemy with blades out to sprint assassinate, attack while in the air from behind an enemy to air assassinate

I don't know if im the one doing something wrong, but i simply cannot get the assassination to get triggered, neither the sprint nor the air one. Is there any MCO or some settings that conflicts with the mod?

Do you plan to have a version that doesn't have MCO as a requirement? MCO fundamentally changes the way combat works and some people don't want to play with that

MCO is not a hard requirement, you just won't have the combo animations. There will still be assassinations

I'll recommend installing Skyrim cheat engine from nexus mods, it comes with a lot of features including an add item feature.

I installed this mod today. At most it works good. But there is maybe a bug, that anytime I change from a weapon to the blades, it doesn't work. Only if I sheath and draw, then it works. And if it possible to increase the unarmed damage, if I wear the blades? Then I could use the blades as "daggers". It don't have to be very much. Round about a steel dagger

How to target my enemy? I could not trigger any assassinations and I had installed every requirement. I tried change hotkey, enable all things named "hit effect" in Scrambled Bugs, but still I could not perform assassination

Somehow the blades aren't out. Im just doing fist damage with the blade animation.
