Heya peeps, it's been a while. This is an interaction mod I've been cooking slowly over the past week during my breaks, and I'm quite happy how it turned out.

Features: 

- Animated animations for pickup: the player will have height dependant animations for taking items. 

        - For example, Taking something high on a shelf will use a different animation
         compared to taking an item on the ground.

- Container interactions for looting corpses/chests/furniture. Skyrim Souls RE is highly recommended, but not required.

- Animations for interacting with doors, like NPCs have.

- All non-menu interactions are blended to movement, so they do not lock you in place, and you can move while picking stuff up.

- Configure height dependant animation thresholds in ini.

- Change animation speeds in ini file. For realistic, weighty animations use a low or default speed multiplier. For fast, realistic animations use a high multiplier.


Install:

Requirements:

Nemesis Behavior Engine 

Address Library For SKSE Plugins


1. Download and install mod, activate plugin.

2. Run Nemesis and tick patch, update engine, launch.

3.  Done. 

4. Tweak ini to change animation speed and selection.


Future Expansions:

Lever/lockpicking animations

Potion animations? (May be out of scope, not confirmed)

Grab animations, for when you drag stuff around


Compatibility:

Parts of this mod may conflict with Immersive Interactions. Use the MCM of the mod to disable the animations that this mod already handles. 

I want to make it clear that this isn't intended to be a replacement for JaySerpa's mod. There are some features in Immersive Interactions (namely the animations that are emotey/too expressive) that I will never implement into this mod because I disagree with the design choice, although I respect Jayserpa and his work.


Troubleshooting:

If you are having trouble with animations not playing/being locked in place while interacting/speed multiplier not applying, delete all of your Nemesis output and rerun Nemesis for a clean environment. 

Always do this first when troubleshooting behavior mods before taking more drastic measures.

Once again very nice work ^^! Got a minor issue when looting corpses without unpaused menus, animation plays after i close the container so i get stuck into looting animation.

hello, I am aware of the issue and working to push a fix asap. As a temporary workaround you can install Skyrim Souls RE Fixed which unpauses the menu and allows the animation time to play.

Seems like all of my pickup animations are a kind of bend all the way tf over animation lol.. even for items well above me

Okay.. I'm having another issue. Sometimes when I greet NPCs.. I do a pickup animation and/or pickup a object that's close to a NPC like an object on a shelf next to a shop keeper

There is an issue if you pick up an item while riding horse. It makes character stand up while riding and then locks controls if you try to hop off :(
