I wanted to take a moment and thank you all for the support. I know that giving a couple bucks to a podcaster is not a priority for anyone, so the fact that you all do support means the world to me.

The podcast is something I look forward to recording every single week and I am always trying to think of how to make it better. I like to make stuff that I would personally enjoy consuming myself, so that is how I structure the podcast, livestreams, YouTube videos, and graphics that I put out into the world.

Honestly, I’m not sure how I've attracted all of you here to begin with? I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to come together. It makes me speechless at the amount of care and thoughtfulness of this community which came from me recording on a Rock Band microphone 13 years ago.

About this time a year ago, I made a post about how I was struggling in my personal life. I wrote that post with no intention of anyone caring about my problems, but more so as a way to not have every thought or feeling bottled up. I ended up saving everyone’s response to that post to look back on those comments when I am down. I still struggle with imposter syndrome on and off in both my online presence and with my IRL relationships. Regardless, I am thankful of the support on that post.

In 2023 we’ve raised $9,230 as a community across multiple charities. We’ll have one more charity stream on Twitch for the year next week, December 3rd, for Hope for the Day! Hope for the Day (HFTD) is a non-profit focused on proactive suicide prevention and mental health education.

Going back to content, there is a new logo and redesign in the works and it’s almost done. On top of that, I am going to tweak the Patreon rewards soon so they feel a bit better as we go into the new year.

If you are alone today or trying to avoid family, I will be live on Twitch this afternoon to provide both company and sarcasm.

I’m not sure if I will get the opportunities I got this year in 2024. From being invited to Japan by TPCi, Niantic bringing me out to South Korea, and Twitch featuring me for Pokémon Day, I have been very fortunate in 2023. That was possible because of you all supporting what I do, so thank you.

Thank you again, more to come soon.

Best, Steve

Thank you, Steve not only for what you do in providing entertainment and fun for so many of us, but in how you do it which is with honesty, passion, care, and genuineness. It's those things that make what you've built so special. There is a lot of content out there, but there are very few people behind that content who put time and care into your community like you do. And in that respect, you reap what you sow. You provide a place for us to come and be in good company, and in turn, we want you to always know how grateful we are and that we would try to do the same for you given the chance. It was one of the highlights of my year that I got to meet and hang out with you at NAIC. With all you had going on, it was so cool that you made time just to walk around and hang out with us. Those are the kinds of things that make this community special. So thank you again, all the best now and in the future, and I do hope we get to cross paths again! I'll have you sign another shiny Cram card

Hi and Happy Thanksgiving! I'm new to supporting ISE via Patreon. Ever since S & V launch, ISE has added so much warmth to my life, and your 7-star raid building streams have made it the most fulfilling online gaming experience of my life! I love thinking about how my son AJ and I have caught ALL 16 7-star raid Pokémon, using your builds for all of them. Thank you, your core chat members, and the ISE co-hosts (esp Greg and Hannah) for making the world less lonely, my commutes way more awesome, and my bonding experiences with my pokemaniac son more meaningful. - Jared (JAM671)
