New Bots (Patreon)

I added two new Bots to Slack! BirthdayBot has returned! While BirthdayBot caused us headaches in the past, that was two years ago. Seems like the kinks have been worked out. If for some reason BirthdayBot still annoys you via DM, let me know. We'll decide by the end of the week if we want to keep it. 

Icebreakers is a new bot added. I am testing it in #introductions currently. I already foresee some issues with it, so I might find an alternative before the end of the week, but it's suppose to help you get to know the community better by posting weekly "fun facts" about the people it randomly chooses. 

Of course, both these bots you can easily ignore if you choose not to participate and they should bother you again after the one time, but if you'd like to interact, it should be "fun."
