2018 January Update! (Patreon)

Lots of updates, so I'll try to keep this organized and easy to follow! First off, thank you for a fantastic 2017. We accomplished a lot including a lot of great interviews, traveling to two PAXs, traveling to Pokemon GO Fest, another year speaking at C2E2 and another room at MGC. 

2017 had a bunch of ups and downs, including me being unemployed, but I have been working hard to make ISE more than just a podcast now. 

Twitch Partnership 

To get Twitch Partnership, you have to average 75 viewers for 30 days. We are so close to this! If we can continue the momentum we have now, I should be able to apply for partnership at the end of this month. You can help just by viewing the stream or at the very least have it open. If ten people who don't regularly watch the stream just keep it up for the next month, we'll have no problem hitting that average. Keep in mind you can bump down the resolution if needed, but you do need to have the audio on. Muted streams do not count you as a viewer, so to get around that, you can mute the tab itself or just turn the volume on slightly above muted. 

TL:DR; Please stop by each stream over the next month, say "hi," and keep it open as long as possible. Mute the tab, not the video. 

Why does this matter? Right now I get a 50/50 split from Subscriptions. If I am partnered, I get a 70/30 split PLUS I get money for people who are not subbed who watch the ads. Right now I get no ad money. On top of that, we'll get about eight new emotes to go along with pikaDerp that you can use all through Twitch. With Twitch Partnership + Patreon, I could stop looking for jobs and focus on content creating.

PAX South

Alola Vacation

More are coming!! Irene had a very busy December with work. We plan on recording at least three episodes for this weekend for you all! If you are $5+ backer, you will be getting bonus content next week. 

Helix Mail Backers

December letters should be going out as soon as I get back from PAX. I am going to order some labels to make it easier to make envelopes. If you are a $16+ backer, please make sure your address is up to date. Three people got returned to sender from November's letters. 

Nuzlocke Goal 

End of last year, we hit the Nuzlocke goal! There will be one more vote on the final game. The plan to do this is February! 

We are $300 away from hitting our next goal too!!

LeafGreen Pokémon?

My DS is coming today in the mail. I will start the transfer of Pokemon up, but I should be able to begin trading to you all after PAX South!! Stay tuned.
