Hey Hey Patrons!

We're back and rocking a PUNISHING but EXHILIRATING episode of Blue Eye Samurai!

This is the big action setpiece release that we've been waiting for and dreading - cause you KNEW it wasn't gonna go how you wanted it to go!

Just a stunning "one shot" leads us into the set piece!

Also, I know we all want revenge super bad, but are we opening up our eyes in CRYPT WATER?!?!

Also, we're TRIPPING BALLS whilst fighting?! Excuse you?

They make it out, but not before Taigen gets his fingers squeezed out like fuckin' ketchup packets! Jeez Louise.

This episode was fucking incredible, they really used the infinite possibilities of a virtual camera in 3d software to its fullest potential. The art direction and lighting is especially good here too. I also love the characterization of Fowler. I saw a comment on a video that said he's like an oldschool Disney villain but in an adult setting, and it fits so well. He's like a super confident mix of Clayton and Jafar, just deliciously evil. He's also the only person so far who isn't phased by the inhuman feats and will of Mizu. The voice actor is doing an amazing job.

James W.

The voice is done by Kenneth Branagh who is probably most famous for directing and adapting Shakespeare to film. The ones I remember are his Hamlet and Henry V but he may have done others. He also played iago in the 90s version of Othello where Lawrence Fishburn played the titular character. They were both awesome; highly recommend it if you can parse the whole Shakespearian English, iambic pentameter, thing. The whole cast of that film is a bunch of British badasses who you've probably seen a million times in a bunch of shows and movies over the years. Branagh is also just generally a great actor and director. He can ham it up sometimes but is always enjoyable. That first MCU Thor film was directed by him and I thought he did a great job making what I always though was corny, boring character in the comics into a whole plotline that sort of underpinned the heart of all of those MCU films. Here endeth the hyper-fixative rant from some random nerd. If you read all of that we are now married, that's the rules.
