The game is NOTHING like the show. This is the most fleshed out property from that universe. I personally do not like the game, but this show is phenomenal. Only common ground is that there's some familiar characters/ locations.

I played League a couple of years ago and always used to think the lore was always better then the game itself. I honestly love how they have portrayed the characters and the world of Runeterra overall tbh.

Also yeah pretty much everyone whos watched and loves this show is like "Dont play the game" even the people that actually LIKE the game lol. as to why its cause its a MOBA and not everyones into that and two, the in game community is incredibly toxic lol.

No its def not the worst imagine dragons song haha I think I just don't really care for them because ive heard so many of the songs on repeat/ a lot sound the same to me. Their music plays on a lot of tv shows, stores, and ads, I feel. Idk Just my personal preference! Everyone has different taste, as Morgan said- I don't wanna yuck anyones yum!

I agree about the music. This show is great but some of the music choices are total tone killers during this series. That's honestly my only complaint with the show.

Honestly this show is about 50% music video anyway so there music choices aren't nearly as distracting as some of the visuals they put along to them. I just take it as part of the show's charm and bop to the ride :D

It's not that I don't like the songs. I just don't think they fit with what's happening in the story on screen and takes me out of the experience. Everybody's experience is different but that's just how I felt.

I was a fan of Dan Reynolds when he was back up to his wife. Now that he has his own band the man is all hype, but JID makes the intro song better. The music video is so good after watching the series tbh

I ended up joining the Patreon just for this. I'm kinda obsessed. The crazy thing about this show is that it's really only loosely based on the game. The game itself doesn't have much in the way of lore, just a few voicelines between characters, but all of the lore comes from backmatter and articles about the 150 playable characters. Of which some is great, most is about what you expect from modern videogame writing, and some is just incoherent drivel. The game is competitive as hell, filled with toxic lunatics, and has a learning curve like a brick wall. Its where hope and love goes to die. The show is on another fucking level.
