having to design a bran new environment always takes FOREVER, especially when i have to design the outside AND the inside! i already had the vibe of Judy's bard in my head, but actually bringing it to the canvas is always a big of a struggle! but with enough persistence, i managed to make it look pretty dang nice, if i do say so myself!

plus, now that the inside is design and the color palette established, doing all the pages INSIDE will be a breeze! (famous last words)

the finished piece stayed pretty truthful to the sketch! other than actually adding all the bottle behind Judy, though that was always in my mind, i just didn't both sketching them out! and the little sign out front with promoting Leo's gig is slightly different! it's actually in reference to an old poster i've been meaning to remake! maybe i'll get around to it soon 👁
