French titles always make things classier, non? Here’s the poll-winning image from August. Fun fact: I actually drew the original sketch for this back in July 2019. It’s been haunting the image poll ever since! When I post the time-lapse video you’ll see I must have redrawn the image 3 or 4 times before I found a style and composition I liked. This is also a unique image in that I painted the flesh in PaintStorm Pro on the iPad. PaintStorm has a SAI-inspired water brush that I can’t reproduce in Procreate, which is where I otherwise do 99% of my images.
