The thing is, the red that surrounds Naruto is his blood and his chakra. I think if they had animated it in a more gory fashion it would have ticked a few more boxes for you? Who knows, maybe not. I personally don't mind the 4 tails look, but it's not for everyone :)

It’s just supposed to represent raw chakra in this form so he is just pure nine tails energy/chakra. So it’s not really a transformation but more like he’s incased in chakra

Ron, I am also not a huge fan of the way Naruto looks in his 4-tails form in the anime, although I will say that the way he’s illustrated in the manga is more aesthetically pleasing. Like his body proportions, the coloring, even the shape of his fox ears are slightly different.

The spiked wood columns were part of the sealing jutsu he uses, he can use other jutsu besides only wood which is why it had the spikes

Yes. In Naruto people can use many jutsus like summoning things, the same way that Orochimaru summoned those three defense gates.

Regarding Sakura's wound, I think it's bloodier in the manga. I'm not sure, but it's something that happens in shonnen anime. They are much lighter in anime than in manga, it's normal to censor some things.

I somewhat agree with you ron. I think it could definitely look cooler. I think what they were going for with the design wasn't so much as naruto taking the form of the ninetails though, and more of like, the raw ninetails chakra just trying to force its way out of naruto's body, so they went with a less physically defined design

well we've seen that he can make things that aren't just wood, he made a whole house with other materials that weren't wood :D

The red of this version of naruto/ninetails is his blood, supposedly. His skin was shredded away so the red/black scratch marks are supposed to be his boiling blood and muscle shown in anime style more or less, as well as the poison attributes it possesses

I agree with you Ron, I'm not too crazy about this form of Naruto either :p When he had a smaller part of nine tails chakra flowing out in season 1 it was more hype coz it was like seeing him get a little beast-ly and it was cool. With this form more than anything I'm just worried coz it seems like the dark redness of the form is coming his blood and skin being broken down due to the sheer massive amount of raw ninetails chakra leaking from him. Thinking about it and that scene from a few episodes ago incites that image of gore but just looking at it without that context, it's not that great :p

The form he looks like in 4th tail form has its own meaning. Imagine the human body or any other body and its layers (cells, bones, flash, skin, fur).. So the 4th form represents some part of the body of Kyuubi (9th tail). You will understand more in 100 episodes. I do not think this is a spoiler for you in any way.

The pacing in those early Shippuden episodes is so slow that all the stuff that happened in those 2 episodes could easily fit into half an episode. But it get's way better at the next arc :)

It’s understandable with your take on Naruto form . But also keep in mind it was almost a decade ago 😂 and your first Anime was Demon Slayer. The Animation expectations as well as Designs are definitely going to be higher for you.

I don't like the form too, but i think its suppose to look ugly in a sense. This form is physically and mentally bad for Naruto , the villains and the side cast, so we shouldn't want to see him in that form.

I think that form is supposed to make you feel like that. At least that’s how I interpreted it. But I totally get what you mean. Not controversial at all.
