Yeah but if you think about it in the 1st episode of season 2 he said he took his wife’s last name which is fushiguro and was no longer a zenin like how the guy had called him and in season 1 it was said that megumi’s dad was from the zenin clan so i think him asking “how’s megumi” kinda implies that he’s his dad right? I’m not sure either but that’s what I think sooo yeah

As I said, would be very, very nice! 🙏🏻❤🙏🏻❤🙏🏻 (And for anyone in the comments who doesn't want to be spoiled, accidentally, please just don't read my comment, thanks ❤😅) So, it's about the whole "Megumi's dad" thing. I don't think it was a real spoiler when people wrote under the first episode that this is Megumi's father. Because in the first episode, when he's introduced, he says at the end, "I'm not a Zenin anymore. I took my wife's name. It's Fushiguro now" and we know from the first season that Megumi is a born Fushiguro and his father actually belonged to the Zenin clan (i.e. Maki and Mais clan), but left the clan for reasons. Gojo had told Megumi that in a flashback of Megumi, where you saw how the two met. Megumi was about 7 years old in that flashback and Gojo was about the same age as he is now in season 2, which can be seen from his sunglasses and clothing. And for that reason I don't think it really counts as a spoiler because you know these things, theoretically. I know Ron and Michelle must have forgotten the conversation between Megumi and Gojo from Season 1, but since that's all information that the show has given the viewer on its own, I don't think that really counts as a spoiler, because theoretically you only have to put this information's together. And by the way, the second season won't consist entirely of the flashback from Gojo's past, it's actually only 5 or 6 episodes, which means there are still 3 or 4 episodes to come, and after that comes the next arc

Well, I didn't say anything about it, but i agreeded that you guys made a quick recap on the events of the first season and the movie cuz it contains important information that is relevant in the development of the current season. As I said before, JJK is an anime with a complex universe that has many rules and you must paid special attention to the dialogues in order to connect facts and relationships within the narrative. Even for manga readers it is sometimes difficult to understand the explanations Gege(author) give about techniques and other stuff. I of course don't expect that you guys manage all the facts and data to a T but that you have taken the time to refresh your memory for a better understanding of the show is something I appreciate cuz is one of my favorites and i know you genuinely like it so thank you!

Paid attention to those cause you never know when it will become relevant🤷🏻‍♀️ And i wasn't like a spoiler, it's meant for viwers to get it (that he's Megumi's dad) once he introduce himself as Fushiguro.

I mean I’ll admit my own comment pointed out you not recognizing characters but I definitely wasn’t mad and hopefully I was someone who came off as excited and helpful rather than mean and nasty 🥺 Cause in the end—- I kept in mind you both watched the first season a whole year ago and have watched a good number of shows since then. Expecting you to remember every character and detail isn’t realistic, not for you, not for anyone really. I’m sorry you got people being unkind to you, especially over something like this. You two are actually some of my favorite reactors for how genuinely you do enjoy what you watch and how good the vibes and conversations you have are. Never change you two, and try not to let the haters get you down 🫶 Oh man—— going off of you two talking a bit about the bg happenings of Jujutsu high/the higher ups/senior sorcerers/and the clans/How young sorcerers are taught and trained to live their lives in a rather specific way—- I could honestly do a whole essay/breakdown on how corrupt and awful it is. You’ve had some major examples of this in season 1 as well as the movie. The immediate decision to simply execute Yuji & Yuta And in Yuji’s case sending him on a mission he wasn’t nearly trained or qualified enough for specifically in hopes it’d get him killed + Putting Megumi’s & Nobara’s lives at risk in the process (and doing so specifically while Gojo was away and couldn’t stop them) Later on during the goodwill event between the two school the Kyoto principal Gakuganji ordered his students to kill Yuji. And you’ve got how the Zenin clan treats two of their own, Maki & Mai. (Maki talks about this in the movie and it’s literally her reason for wanting to be a strong sorcer. MY GIRL IS FUELED BY MOXY AND SPITE 🥰) And of course you have Gojo’s blatant contempt for the higher ups and the traditional/outdated practices and foundations of the world of jujutsu sorcery in general and him explaining what his dream is and why he became a teacher. I won’t say if any of it relates to Geto and the path he ends up on down the plot road but I will say you’re 100% correct giving the higher ups and the behind the scenes activity of jujutsu sorcery and who all pulls those strings some bombastic levels of sideye. OK EPISODE STUFF Mappa did not have to give us that TEA SCENE, they just did that because they knew we’d love it + let Geto have even more BOSS time on screen. Not Gojo’s proclivity for taking DISRESPECTFUL photos starting when he was YOUNG. Megumi probably thinks he gets the brunt of the man’s audacity but nope GOJO PUNKS EVERYONE FAIRLY(ISH) AND HAS DONE SO SINCE HE WAS 16 AT LEAST (since before then for the manga readers who KNOW) Not Ron calling it 🤣. Mediator really came looking for him to tell him to stop throwing his money at bets he’s just gonna lose AND DO YOUR JOB YA BUM 🙃 (I don’t know what Mediator dude is paid but I have a feeling it’s not nearly enough to deal with this guy) Jesus Christ. Again Mappa did NOT have to give us these Fushigoro animations and expressions (not the punkass sulky pout when he loses wtf??? Criminal by Britney Spears plays in the BG) At least he’s a man with a PLAN, setting up a chess board while people are playing checkers 😐 Ngl Riko is valid in her reactions to them boys. But—- so are they in their response in—- TRYING TO BREAK/STRETCH HER SPINE??? Don’t bully eachother too much kids. Michelle he’s big cause he’s full of snacks. Ron: What’s his first name? He’s also full of secrets. (Scene with the poor guy and his ramen getting toppled by just dude’s chest… then the LOOK.) And black Air Force energy. Ok Kuroi highkey giving Maki here. I know it was just a clone but SHE DID THAT. With a mop o_o. Sb give her a proper weapon I wanna see what she can do with something serious if this is what she can do with a household cleaning item. Ok but I LOVED Gojo’s mini breakdown of his technique not just for the sake of understandability, but you know lore dropping in Jjk is an immediate buff in combat situations, and him getting into how tiring it is and his Red not going off how he wanted it to does such a good job showcasing that Gojo is a teenager here and is still learning. Yes even at 16 he is HIM, and powerful, the head of his clan, king of rizz, wielder of the six eyes and limitless all that—- but he’s still not as strong as he’s gonna get, his techniques haven’t yet been perfected, he still has training to do. As op as he is already it’s insane to consider at this time in comparison to the level of mastery over his abilities he has in current time GOJO IS COMPARATIVELY WEAK. UUUGGGHHH I CANT WAIT TO SEE THE NEXT EPISODE/REST OF THE SEASON! This Ep was fantastic and this was hella fun! I’m not gonna lie people that get mad at such things are extremely cringe acting with that type of behaviors as grown adults is crazy is best to ignore in my opinion the anime community will always have people like that and is something that also causes problems with big reactors such as RRTV or Double dragon

Folks forget, they rewatch some show over and over and over, with multiple reactors, and might be reading the manga, meanwhile yall (and honestly most reactors) MOVE ON to new & different shows! Clearly, you won't remember everything. Even yaboyroshi & crew forgets stuff! I think reminders are cool but being downright mean and rude about it?....🫤 Anyway! Great reaction as always! You know, they actually bumped up the age of consent in Japan recently to 16! It was 13 nationally, but the prefectures had their own ages at 16~18 respectively but now its 16 on a national level.

If you got confused and want to know more about old Fushiguro maybe you can get back to the latest arc in season 1 when Megumi did domain expansion (on your free time, no need to react), there were a lot of moments of him talking about his family, other than his step sister. That's pretty much will connect the dot. But if you don't want to know, that's fine. (as long as you remember the name Fushiguro that's already enough 😁) Thank you for doing the recap though!

adding some tidbits, the scene when Fushiguro talks about Gojo's Six Eyes, in the manga it shows the eyes directly but in the anime they show the takoyaki he's eating, its kinda symbolic, it means he's ready to "destroy" the eyes/Gojo (takoyaki as the eyes). The chopstick stuck in the takoyaki at the end 🫠 the author said the animators did an amazing job to expand that scene

I'm hoping that the comments you mentioned are not the ones from patreon. I cannot say the same for Youtube though. I don't think that they are mad. Since you asked, many pointed out so you will know what you had missed and was confused about. They are just straightforward advise that you need a recap cause everyone knows in between seasons people do forgot about the story, plot, characters etc therefore a refresher is required. I assure you many of them also had to go back to re-watch the season or watch a recap to refresh themselves for some of the info in JJK. Hope you don't misunderstand. There was enough clues given in S1 to determine that the Fushiguro in S2 is Megumi's father, so technically it's not a spoiler~ Megumi talks about his family quite a bit at the end of S1 and mentions how his dad and Tsumiki's (his step sister) mom ran off and got together. It was also explained that Gojo took in Megumi after his dad tried to sell him to the Zenin's as a bargaining chip, allowing him to leave the Family. This is the case because Megumi has a very strong cursed technique valuable to the Zenin Clan, which him and Kamo were discussing when they fought each other. Megumi is a part of the Zenin family (It was mentioned how Maki and Mai are his cousins) but carries his mother's last name (Fushiguro) instead of his dad's. Fushiguro senior mentioned in ep 1 of s2 that he took his wife's last name. He and Megumi would not share the same last name if they were simply brothers. They have to be father and son~ JJK is very heavily detailed and sprinkles in a ton of information that can be hard to grasp on the first watch through. It's fine if you miss a few things here and there because at some point things will be revealed~

I stile this comment from Someone else but it's good information So this is a quick and dirty summary of Gojo's techniques for anyone who wants it: Limitless involves the compression of space around him to in infinitesimal amount, stopping things from being able to touch him. BLUE is him creating a sort of vacuum (e.g him pulling those clones). RED is basically the reverse of blue. But it involves using Reverse Curse Technique yadayada, but that's not super important to understanding that it just blasts fools away (e.g him YEETING Jogo in season 1) HOLLOW PURPLE is combining the two to create a singularity that just eliminates anything in its path (we all saw the end of the good-will event arc) SIX EYES is a rare trait that does a lot different things for whoever has it. Most importantly, in Gojo's case, it's what allows him to efficiently use his curse energy to do all the crazy shit he does with Limitless. Limitless is powerful, but it's because he has BOTH techniques that he's so OP. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

So the “big three” is referring to the three major clans or family’s so to speak with the strongest techniques one is the Zen’in which is megumis and makis clan you’ll learn about the technique later the other is blood manipulation the one that the dude megumi was fighting during the school festival or whatever and the third is the 6 eyes or the one that Gojos from. So the name that was hard to learn was just who they were related to

It's actually not a spoiler letting yall know its megumi's dad. In the episode he said that he has taken his wife's last name, Fushiguro. We, as the audience are supposed to know that Megumi's last name is Fushiguro. That's what Itadori refers to him as well as Nobara. Besides in the first season Megumi talks about how his dad left him and his step sister and they had to raise themselves. That's the majority of his back story and why he became a jujutsu sorcerer in the first place, so no I believe it's not too much of a spoiler lol.

I mean you remember demon slayer well but it's such simple writing so...you forget everything else from every other anime cause it's more complicated. Not everything is demon slayer as much as you want it to be and thank God for that.
