Anyone else notice that they keep calling Felis a "she". Not that I don't blame them, it happened to me when I first watched the show as well. Took a while to remember that Felis is a guy.

If you remember the start of episode 18 when Subaru died to Puck’s ice and started laughing, that was him actually being possessed by Betelgeuse. They actually hinted that Subaru could be possessed a few episodes ago

She's crying cuz, I guess, it's her first time killing someone. Also Julius put the red (fire) spirit in disposition to Subaru, so that he can use it temporarily. But when Betelgeuse took his body, he pushed out Ia (the spirit).

I never thought about this when I first watched re zero but my understanding with Felis is that he is the best healer in this world and likely after the explosion it did not just explode and destroy his clothes but he probably was burned to a crisp and had body parts blown off that he was able to heal back up Also I love beatelguese. It also gave me goosebumps the first time I watched when he took over subarus body and Subaru begged Felis and Julius to kill him while he still has some control.

I usually skip the beginning of reaction but I love your guy’s little banters 😭 they always make me laugh. Michelle’s reactions to betelguese are hilarious too😭 Not sure if you guys could, but I recommend reacting to the last two episodes for the finale together. Love you guys❤️

That very much depends on why you don't like it. An extreme amount of information will be revealed in the movie and the second season, and really, the goal of the first part of the show will be completed (and no, not the obvious scene) as well as wrapping up/solidifying this part of Subaru's character development . This first and foremost is not an action anime, it is very much here to tell a long, multi-part story. The best way to wrap this up is if you like traditional books over manga then you will like it, if not, then probably not.

Also, for people who don't know (and kind of light spoilers), there are spinoffs written by the author that shows what ifs (with one of them being with Rem), including which sin he encompasses. I wrote this, even with it being a light spoiler, because it can be a lot worse if you look for them without knowing since the descriptions give a lot away.

Also, since I like the little details, Felix's affinity is with water and with where he touched him, he likely tried to destroy his brain but while it would kill a normal human immediately (and it did kill Subaru), Petelgeuse's ability meant that it did not fully kill him.

u pretty much nailed it. in the light novel felix basically died from the explosion, but since hes such a good healer he was able to recover from near death with no issues.
