I never see anyone mention this so I thought I'd point out that it's kind of messed up for Jiraiya to bring Naruto knowing he'll remind her of her brother. In some ways he's actually doing a similar thing to Orochimaru here. He's using her memory of her loved ones to coerce her into doing something. I also always thought that Orochimaru cared for Tsunade in his own messed up way and that the death of her brother just pushed him further into his screwed up view of the world. Not saying he cared for her in anyway like a normal person would just in his own twisted way. Maybe respected is closer to the right word? Anyway, Sword of the Stranger for monthly movie.

i think jiraiya was doing it to help her get out of a dark place. i feel like he knew that if could get her to remember, or maybe feel is a better word, that there are kids just like her brother that care for the village and want to fight for it. that she could process and heal and move on in a healthy way and come back to the village. so yea he is using her memory of loved ones. he isn’t doing it for himself, unlike orochimaru, he is mostly doing it bc he knows that she really does love the village but she is just lost right now mentally. but by tsunade being the hokage and helping the village. she is really helping herself in the end. does that make sense? that’s just how i interpret it

Oh I'm not saying that his motives aren't more altruistic. I'm just saying that he employed a similar method. Either way we better stop or well start dropping story spoilers lol. But it is an interesting look into morality and ethics.

Probably gonna be in the loud minority, but you should definitely not skip ALL fillers, especially in Shippuden. As previously mentioned, you should watch 102, but also 152-157 in OG Naruto, and in shippuden, 54-71, 89-112 and 394-413. This is OBVIOUSLY based in personal taste, so you'll hear many voices telling you not to listen to me, but I personally don't think you'll regret it.
