If I remember correctly, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that last short scene at the end was animated partially by ONE, the creator of Mob and OPM, which is why the art and animation is a little on the rough side. Excited for y'all to start season two! Personally, It's my favorite of the three seasons...

this is a slight misconception. usually, the show is animated in a cleaned and normalized version of ONE's art, with model sheets etc. but in this episode, key animator Toshiyuki Sato was asked to draw all of his key frames in a raw reproduction of ONE's actual, unmodified art style. this is pretty high effort, as its a little wild and unrestrained, which is why its not done like that usually. ONEs name is listed as a key animator for this omake, which causes this confusion, but its actually only because he hand drew the final still shot of the grilling matsutake mushrooms.
