Lol the rest of class A are definitely weaker than Deku. This Deku was fatigued and the gap in power and speed was still pretty big. Had Deku been at 100%, they wouldn’t have been able to stop him. He’s a One for All user and has the most powerful version of the quirk. The gap is expected tbh

This was the emotional episode for me, The whole episode was so good but Bakugo ( Great Explosion Murder God Dynamite) shookith me to my core, him saying sorry was a WOW moment.

This and the next episode just makes me feel so emotional. Everyone so desperately trying to save Deku from all the Emotional Damage~ Just kidding~ It's the mental and physical fatigue~ Deku was barely keeping it together and almost falling apart and they needed to save him. T-T

People keep saying Deku is way stronger than class A which is true but trying to capture someone without hurting them is 10 times harder than capturing a villain. If they wanted to they could have knocked him out but they were trying to get through to him.

Bakugo's body moving on it's own to save Deku when Shigaraki was about to stab him, and him unleashing a new level of explosive power in that moment was honestly such a *chef's kiss* moment. Truly showing that Deku might keep getting stronger and stronger but like a true rival Bakugo's been close to him the whole way.

18:20 Bakugo saying we need to save everyone to win is such a throwback to back when Midoriya and Bakugo had the duel in the middle of the night, the night they became true rivals. All Might had said that Midoriya's ideal of saving ppl to win and Bakugo's ideal of winning agains villains to save ppl both need to come together in order to become the best heroes there are. To hear "save to win" come from Bakugo's mouth, just adds onto the layers of realization how far Bakugo has grown xD.

I get not being happy with them appearing weak but thats the thing. Compared to the "All-Might wannabee"/successor they would be super weak. If hes on the level of All-Might now they dont stand a chance alone. The only reason they were even able to do this is cause he wasnt fighting back he was just trying not to hurt them as he ran away.

Kinda what I mean there was no actual fight, the title lied basically and everything that happens we've seen before. The class combo move is practically the same as saving Bakugo in season 3 and half the episode is flashbacks to one off moments mostly. It's alright just oversold and hyped imo probably the weakest of this latter half of the season when they tried to make it huge. These are all pretty valid points I feel but stay meat riding mha.

This is one of the best episodes of the season and the series. I mean I get it if your brain can only enjoy when people are punching each other but it's your own fault for thinking this was going to be some all out brawl (and shows you don't understand these characters after almost 6 entire seasons).

Class 1A looks weak against Deku because they are - he's basically All Might now but with more tools. He can emulate 100% All Might with only 45% + Fa Jin. Plus both sides were obviously holding back so they wouldn't hurt the other. They wanted to subdue Deku - not beat his ass.

@jboo not sure where you heard that, but I never saw anybody hyping this episode up as a crazy fight. Maybe that's why our opinions differ? You had an expectation of a crazy fight, and were let down, meanwhile I had no clue what was going to happen, and was pleasantly surprised that they didn't go all out, and loved the emotional side of it.

In Ginger's case, I've found anime strikes a unique emotional cord with all and I can't imagine, even as a grown man, anything that has compelled me to cry this much (besides UP) but it always feels therapeutic in a sense and really underscores the weight a show can bring
