Seeing Michelle jump just made me shit myself 😂

Reina Panda

I know how you guys feel, this episode shocked me too the first time I saw it. It's like the house knew everything before it happened. Nell was seeing herself, the come home written on the wall. Also the mother's prediction came true, remember when she said, "I see bodies swinging" about the ropes at the top of the stairs.

Joemar Villalon

Present Nellie, as she dies, sees her whole life, except past Nellie sees her too as the bent neck lady.

Moses T24

Haunted by her own death. Just like Hodor

MrPoseidon

The vicious cycle of life and death

Ann

I saw something that says she’s been haunted by herself and her mental illness her whole life, not sure if that makes sense but that’s one explanation I saw

Samurai_X_420

Been waiting for you guys to get to this episode!!! 👍

To add to what the others have already said, I also think it may have something to do with the mom and kids all having some amounts of psychic ability. It's like Nell was able seeing her future the entire time as a kid.

Apathina

Its very sad. They kept repeating that they believed her because thats all she ever wanted her family to do. Same with Luke. Throughout the show they kept saying no one ever believed them.

Lu Bu

Have you guys seen Death Note yet?

SirGeel

That scream from michelle made me jump a little, i need to know the story too, so did nell kill her own husband from the future or huhhhh? brain is melting

Samurai_X_420

Nell was the bent neck lady the whole time!! Time doesn’t work the same in the nether realm. Her ghost traveled through time and haunted herself in the past 👻🤯. Also fun fact these first five episodes that focus on each of the Crain children are meant to represent the five stages of grief. Steven is Denial, Shirley is Anger, Theo is Bargaining, Luke is Depression, and Nellie is Acceptance. Crazy to go back and see how the stages of grief are represented in the character’s personalities. Great reaction 👏👏👏

Not Amused

@Joemar Villalon And that’s arguably even scarier. Just living your normal, healthy life in the safety of your own home…then bam, it’s over.

adam

nell's story is so tragic, she really deserved better, might be one of my fav episode of this show!

Not Amused

Don’t stress too much about catching the background ghosts on your first run, it’s almost impossible to see all of them lol. For example there are 5 in the first episode alone but none in some others.

Natalia

For me I think the bent-neck lady represents her depression. That's why she was gone when she was with arthur, because her depression got better. The same goes for the guy following Luke, representing his addiction following him and always creeping out on him.

I think this Ep is my fav because of the twist. If Going back to Ep 1 again instead of scare … I feel sad for her. If I have a child have experienced something like seeing thing that scare her… I wouldn’t dismiss immediately like her parents lol … you bet she will be in my bed every night and keep an eyes on her for sure. It could be a mental thing or spiritual.

Lu Bu

!!!!! Wait which one? The Japanese one or the Netflix version? If its the japanese one then yeah the story is ruined for you guys but if its the Netflix version the anime is worth the watch!! Also worth checking out Tokyo Revengers Classroom of the Elite

The mom wrote Wel on the wall when Nell was there as an adult when she was younger it said Wel"come home Nell" the wel part was covered up so the mom's ghost wrote that.

Mark Treece

Look under the piano, in the scene where Nelly is getting chastised for drawing on the wall...

MARMAR

bent neck lady literally the worst haunting to be under like christ that reveal at the end made you fear everything that happened up until that point BONE CHILLING FRFR
