2023-05-12 20:09:37 Ok so I just copy paste my comments from the last 2 eps into this, hope you two will notice. There is an extra 6 min part not included in Season 2, showing Aoba Johsai side of the story after this match. This is a MUST watch after you finish Season 2. Aoba Johsai story is not completed without this. Here is the Youtube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lao54_hFaA0

2023-05-12 20:09:36 Here comes the finals... If Karasuno loses, the 3rd years retire, yet, their opponent is Shiratorizawa, the undefeated champions. Oikawa wanted to beat them since he was in middle school, yet, Ushiwaka was the champion of all 12 tournaments they competed together.

2023-05-12 20:09:36 I feel exactly the same as I rooted for both Karasuno and Aoba Johsai(Seijoh). Oikawa and Seijoh definitely deserved to have the chance to win the match too. I hope you already saw a few of our messages about a 6 min video you have to watch before you watch Season 3. You guys can watch it together after Season 2 Episode 25. It's a MUST watch since you guys love Oikawa. It is a last 6min of the Haikyuu Movie 3: Genius and Sense (Jap title - Sainou to sensu) that has an extra part not shown in Season 2 the features Seijoh after their match against Karasuno in the Semi-finals. YouTube link below for your convenience: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lao54_hFaA0&ab_channel=VenniTalvi

Damn man.. not because of the game, the clutch plays, the emotions or cheers but the man Oikawa after hustling for the ball and leading his body to potentially put serious risk just for his team and the sport he loves, I got the chills right there..

chaosdreamer

And that is the magic of Haikyuu, where everyone is just trying their best to keep their team on the court. I remember way back when I first watched this episode and thinking about how I was so "They've got to beat Seijoh!" when this tournament started vs. how bittersweet the win actually felt at this moment because we got to know Oikawa as a fuller person than simply "that pompous jerk who was mean to Kageyama"

Benny

Ron really makes these reactions special his facial expressions and stuff are so funny to watch!

Andrew Barreras

Y'all should definitely watch the aoba johsai special ending. It's like 6 minutes long and it's amazing

2023-05-12 23:15:59 okay so for some volleyball terminology, it's not a big deal at all but to clear it up for yall if a team needs one more point to win the set, which will lead to another set being played, its called a set point. If the team needs one more point that will win them the current set and the match, its called match point. Every time the teams get into a back and forth scramble where they are both fighting for that point, its called a rally. When I watched it for the first time the words were confusing to me so I hope this helps lol. Great reaction as always tho <3

Best react ever, i feeled like i was the only one being super sad when Oikawa lost

Betty H

I love that the theme of the "stronger 6 players" was portrayed with each person on both sides contributing to that single point.

2023-05-12 23:15:56 One of my favorite scenes of this season was that entire last rally and the feelings of desperation you get from each character. ❗️❗️ A few other comments have already mentioned it but I'm throwing here again just in case: there's a short clip of Seijoh's POV after the match that you should watch that would be good to watch after finishing ep 25: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lao54_hFaA0 ‼️

Liraaa

I couldn’t care less about Seijoh 😂😂 Let’s go Karasunoooooo

tskjn

Season 3 is gonna make you lose years off your life i swear it is STRESSFUL 😂

Orangeplum

I'm glad for Karasuno. As much as I like Seijo, I wouldn't be OK if this was Suga, Asahi, and Daichi's last game

Brad Nual'Lain

So funny thing about that last set, Oikawa said that the team with the 6 best players will win. and in the last set the ball was touched by every single player on both sides. So he was right, the best 6 did win.

Skyler Anderson

I'm so glad you guys like Aoba Josai. "Talent is something that you make blossom, and instinct is something you polish." What a beautiful end to such an intense rematch.

ParanoidAndroid17

That super long set from Oikawa is probably my favorite moment from the entire series. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Phyllis

The episode title 'Switch for the utmost limit' is mainly represented by Oikawa's growth up till now as he has been constantly struggling to surpass people who are born genius and the gifted like Shiratorizawa's Ushijima and his junior Kageyama who constantly catches up and may surpass Oikawa despite Kageyama being younger. In Oikawa's flashback, his coach had said that if there was really gifted people and geniuses, Oikawa would not be able to surpass them regardless of effort, strategy or team. However, that is only after Oikawa done everything he could to be at his full potential in mind, body and technique and believe in his own skill was not limited to this and continue to work on himself, pushing his limits, instead of giving up just because he is not a genius. In addition, the strongest 6 is the one who claims victory shows how both Karasuno and Seijoh try their hardest to win. Karasuno eventually won because they also worked to push their limits and won. Oikawa could have gotten the ball but next episode will talk about the very last point if you did not see how Hinata got the match point. Looking forward to your next video!

vee

please also watch Seijoh's/ POV from after this match ended - someone has mentioned the YT link above!!

vee

I'm glad you guys feel as connected to Oikawa as I do because I felt so conflicted here when Karasuno won cos Oikawa's my fav character 🥺🥹

KakashiSensei

Oikawa would have actually picked up Hinata’s last spike but it came off the blocks

storm (kasey) !

only haikyuu can have you saying "unfortunately" about the protagonist winning xD its so conflicting, you really just want everyone to win!! oikawa is an incredible character, that last set to iwaizumi was beautiful ;-;

bakugou

When oikawa fell on the tables, and when he turns he falls on his bad knee ( which was previously injured!) and he still gets up kajdjd and runs 😭

bakugou

Also when oikawa points at Iwaizumi, the last set to him, it gives me chills every time love them both so so much

Uku Kivisild

I like Oikawa but they won last time so I don't feel bad at all.. this would have been Suga's, Daichi's and Asahi's last game too. Don't lose perspective guys!!

Aaron Ly

Oikawa is my favorite character in the anime, his journey of coming to terms with his own non-genius in the face of real monsters like Kageyama and Ushiwaka (the guy he kept losing to) is a serious life lesson to me. When the coach speaking to Oikawa said "Sure they're better than you, and they were born better than you, but have you really done everything you can yet?" "If you don't believe you can do it, you probably never will" That is some serious wisdom. I love this show

Jasper Tan

welcome to haikyuu. moments like this in haikyuu, savour it. this won't be the last.

Zach Wells

Y'all HAVE to watch the ova of seijohs pov after the match. its less than 10 min and worth every second

2023-05-15 07:09:47 From the part where Suga comes in and takes over and the game ends is my favourite scene. He deserves it as a 3rd year, but my overall favourite scene is that ABSOLUTELY AMAZING set Oikawa set to Iwaizumi which gets overlooked because of Karasuno's win. It gives me goosebumps everytime I watch or listen to this scene. Also if it was not for the ball hitting of the block Oikawa would have properly received the play. This match for me was bittersweet because Suga and Oikawa are my abosulte favourite Haikyuu and anime characters of all time. I was so happy that Karasuno got their revenge and won the match, and Suga got all 3 points to when the game. The bitter being that Oikawa lost and he deserved to win and go to Nationals as well.
