Ninjutsu, or ninpo, is the martial art style of ninjas. Its usually refered to as the "martial art strategy and tactics of unconventional warfare, guerrilla warfare and espionage" (wikipedia) If you're asking who can use it, Ninjas would be the answer. 😂If you want to know more of it, you could glance through atleast a wikipedia site for ninjutsu, or watch some videos on youtube, ninjas and ninjutsu are such a prominent section of popular media that theres a ton of factual info, along with the fantasty ones and the garbage ones portrayed in western movies. Some director thought actual ninjas were too boring to put in movies because of how inconspious they were, and avoided being noticed and just spied for information. So they put them all in black outfits and made them throw knifes and throwing stars. Badass killing machines. 🤣

No it's YOUNG Askeladd not the normal Askeladd we're used to hearing. Other than that there are no notable anime's he has featured in that you're used to. Which surprised me because he does sound familiar lol.

I like to look at the story as an allegory for the justice system in general. How the “Executioners” treat criminals as non-human except this one that still has her humanity and compassion, and the criminals like Gabimaru often being representative as products of their environments. To most of the law, rehabilitating and redemption are fanciful thoughts, so much so that even the criminals that want it like Gabimaru don’t believe it possible and thus don’t seek it. Someone in his life gave him hope and he is trying so hard to fight his programming and upbringing, and the rigidity and cruelty of the system that purports to allow such a thing as rehabilitation often stonewalls them from reaching it. I think through this we may explore how we could do better to pursue justice and also to create a system where more often that justice is bringing the perpetrator back into the fold of society so as not to propagate a cycle of criminality they cannot escape.
