We have seen how much Trauma Thorfinn has from battles and death and violence and people still want him to "kick ass"? Damn. I thought the anime made it really clear how much Thorfinn SHOULDNT go back to his roots. But we'll see how they react to episode 9. I'm not trying to be judgemental or something, just saying

yes agree. I think people are still a bit confused bc of the tone of the first season but Episode 9 makes it really clear what Vinland Saga truly is about. Its such a Masterpiece, Top 5 Anime already, for me atleast...

Haven’t seen the anime besides the latest eps I think something horrific will happen maybe to eniar (might of butchered that name) and Thorfinn is going to imo and prediction let that inner warrior/demon of him release. Which I want to see. It’s who he is in a way and I think he needs to accept that “he is a warrior”. I predict a tragedy even Thorfinn can’t help but go all out. My prediction. I feel something bad will happen very soon in the next few eps

I completely understand that Thorfinn is becoming a better person and that he shouldnt go back to his ways but at the same time I wouldnt keep taking that crap from those retainers because they have the mindset that they can do whatever they want to Einar and thorfinn and nothing will happen cause they are just slaves.
