I remember Kenma from the Cat team doing the dump when Karasuno had the practice match. The dump is not used much because it's only effective as a surprise otherwise when you know it's coming it's easy to pick it up

its okay to be Oikawa Simp Ron. We saw Setter Dumps before. Kenma (Puddinghead) did it and Kageyama as well. Oikawa is for me one of the best written charakters in the show. Have a nice day

You guys already seen Kenma (the setter from Nekoma) doing a setter dump in the practice match Karasuno vs. Nekoma And in volleyball, a setter dump is something you rarely do, firstly because it's often easy for the opponent team to figure out if the setter wants to play a dump, and secondly because the timing for a dump is often hard to find

Yea I think Kenma did. But I’m pretty sure this is the first setter dump we’ve seen that basically looked like a spike.

What Oikawa did really wasn't a dump he just hit it on 2 instead of setting, but ig you can call it a dump. Hitting on 2 is hard because the first receive has to be really good and even then its kinda predictable if you do it as Oikawa did.

words you talked about that you hear a lot in anime: baka - stupid/idiot usuratonkachi - dead last/idiot/loser gaki - brat/kid you're probably hearing "baka ga" which means someone is saying some action is happening to an idiot (the verb coming after) OR you're hearing "baka gaki" which is what Oikawa said at the end "stupid brat/kid"

Very true. "ka" added to the end of any sentence makes it a question. So sometimes you'll hear people say a question Like "daijobu ka" (are you fine) and the response may be the same thing minus the "ka" as "daijobu" (I'm fine/okay) since there's not usually a subject in Japanese if it's understood who the subject is. .... And just realized I went on a bit of rant/tangent. Oh well. 😂😂😂
