Hello Omakase Sushi Squad 🍱!!

It's that time again where we have y'all vote for the next movie of the month :)

To change things up, per Ron's request, we will do a poll with three action movies lol. Ghost in the Shell was recommended a ton, so we included it in this poll. Ninja Scroll and Sword of the Stranger, however, were recommended by a few people but we read the synopsis and were intrigued. We also decided to throw them in case y'all were interested in watching them for the first time with us :)

Excited to see what y'all vote for :) Cheers and Happy Holidays <3

Hoping January’s Movie of the Month would be the “Violet Evergarden” I know everyone love this movie masterpiece 👀👌🏼

Except for ghost in the shell, I have never heard of the other ones lmao

Omar Bautista

One of Scar Joe's best films

i have seen all these movies and they are all GOOD, ninja scroll is a bit older but ghost in the shell just has this vibe/atmosphere to it that i love. you should watch the other movies

Sword of the stranger is great! Amazing fight scenes and animation. I doubt it will get enough votes though as it’s not commonly known unfortunately

Voted Ninja Scroll cause F it let's get weird, it's not gonna win anyway 😅 A content warning for those who haven't seen it: there's nudity, sex, sexual & graphic violence in it. Ghost in Shell is hugely stunning & hugely influential but I wouldn't call it a straight-ahead action movie. A lot of dialog & intrigue and atmospheric scenes Edit: Sword of the stranger is definitely more of a straight action movie. Really great!
