I don't know guys I feel like this is a bad take from you about how todoroki is acting I mean he has hella mental emotional possibly even physical trauma from abuse from his father. He's been making so much progress and then out of nowhere this guy that comes in speaking directly to him telling him he's just like his dad. The one that put his mom and his family through absolute hell. And you think it's out of character for him to react oddly or not how he usually would? He's traumatized AF he still working through his issues he even said it in the middle of the episode that he still has hate for his father it's not just oh he's good clean beans now like no man that crap last it stays with you he's completely valid for losing his crap once after being compared to his dad. In fact it be more odd if he were able to completely ignore it since his dad is the one thing that's always had an emotional response come from him this is still brand new to him. It's kind of weird how you think of valid emotional reaction is annoying because he's not acting like the emotional and stable mature 16 year old that he tries to be to mask his trauma.. it's either really frightening that you really believe that or you just don't remember anything you watch LOL because the show has told us this so many times and explained it exuberantly

Todoroki's weak spot is his dad though. That's why he acted out of character. It's his hot button. I feel like they made that connection enough in the series that it was reasonable. He just really doesn't like being compared to his dad and it made him think.

You're right it was pretty much just both of them focusing too much on "what they hate" and they failed to recognize they both hate the same thing. (Endeavor's greed/pride) They also ended up becoming what they hate briefly.

You guys seriously need to stop with the sexual comments on Momos' boobs. She is a CHILD?TEENAGER. And even if she was, the over the top reactions make you distracted from the dialogue.

This WAS him Michelle n Ron, you guys probably forgot because it's been so long and he has had so much character development since S1 but he was always like this before, pessimistic and full of hatred towards his father. He got fixed by Deku but still had some untreated hatred(which he talked about just now) that he didnt think would come back, and that's what we saw in todays episode, that unfinished trauma coming back to bite him which kinda caused him to slip back into that darkness that Deku pulled him out of initially.
