Y'all really like watching us cry HUH 😭😭😭

As we mentioned at the end, I think we will watch Akira for September's movie since we've already watched 3 sad movies in a row lol. We will watch Weathering with You in November!

Honestly I’ve had enough reactions to sad/emotional stuff. Would more of my fellow patrons please get behind them watching some action stuff. Sword of the stranger, ghost in the shell, ninja scroll. There’s a lot of great ones. It’s just literally all the movies they’ve done have been the same genre/type and I’d love to see them branch out but it won’t happen unless more of us get behind it

agreed , i didnt vote because didnt watch any of them . didnt watch this one too im about to discover with them . but yeah wish it was another type of movie. like they said they will react to something different next month so it's ok as long as many of us wanted this i guess it's alright.

Yeah kinda agreed. I wanna see someone watch Castle of Cagliostro or Perfect Blue. The upside is they've done probably the top 3 movies that get asked of any channel so now they can venture out!

Never watched this before. Had to watch it before they uploaded , not knowing the premise of the story at all took me by surprise. Very sad indeed:(

It wasn’t the ex boyfriend who stabbed her it was a serial killer! it showed in the news like 2 or 3 times during the movie that a serial killer was stabbing girls to death! I know she was gonna die anyways but to die by getting stabbed to chest and not her disease was really something nobody was expecting and came out of no where! 😞 anyways loved the reactions as always! You guys are awesome!

My gf and I watched this just a couple months ago. Another great movie / beautifully animated. Have you guys already seen the Ghibli movies? They're basically the "Disney" of Japan, I live here and every person has seen them all. Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro are my favorites.

Thanks for finally deciding to work in Akira. It only makes sense since every movie you've done so far (except for DS) has been the same genre/style/era. In all my recommendations (here and in Discord) I really do try to switch things up and keep content diverse for you guys so you don't end up doing 3 drama shows/movies at a time (or in a row), 3 action movies/shows at once or in a row, etc.

First time watching this movie. It was great and I very much enjoyed sharing this moment with you two. I usally watch anime with action and super power you know.. I'm not the kind of guy to ever cry but it got very close during the movie. You guys made it even harder when I saw you teared up. I must admit that you finally broke me at the end when you told your story about the loss of your dog and how you related to the story. Thanks to you I am a mess now and I'll go cry myself to sleep.

stabbings are somewhat common in japan

Stabbings aren’t uncommon in Japan, like japan has a low crime rate but stabbings high on that list, even if it wasn’t the foreshadowing was there earlier in the movie to let you know that there was a stabber out there that hadn’t been caught (I think it was the same guy), overall I think it was so we could be hit with an unexpected death, unlucky circumstances then hit by more unlucky circumstances, it’s just… unfortunate
