Megumi is a descendant of the Zenin clan like Maki and Mai but not a part of it. That's why he has a different familiy name, Fushiguro. Maki and Mai were directly born into the clan but Maki left. I can't explain more without giving spoilers :)

What I loved about this episode was that all women fight and prove that each has different strengths and is trying their best in their own way. It was an episode dedicated to female characters and that is soooo refreshing in the anime/ manga universe. Usually, the girl is rescued or the subject of love between the male characters, or she is the one that offers emotional support but when it comes to fighting, female characters are portrayed as weak. Thousands of manga have this label on female characters. So JJK is doing a great job and more manga creators in the past 10-15 years (well publishing companies, actually) understand that a strong female character is also appealing to fans. Also, I did not know that Ron has a twin brother😊 . His channel has the Samurai Champloo poster...I really recommend watching that series or Samurai 7 (also short) that is full of action, drama and Sci-Fi. Thank you for the great updates❤️

Mai's voice keeps reminding me of Midnight from My Hero Academia so I looked it up and the voice actor (Marina Inoue) did voice a character in MHA but it wasn't Midnight it was Momo Yaoyorozu (creation quirk). 😂😂😂 So close but so far.
