Well i dont understand how putting bakugo into the air would help uraraka bc with his quirk he can fly anyways so making him light in the air would not benefitt her regardless so it was a lost match from start.

So from my perspective, I don't think Bakugo really means he wants them 'dead' I think he means he wants to crush, destroy or snuff out their will to keep fighting. That's only my thoughts on the whole "Die" or "Not Dead yet" thing

It really doesn't help that I was reading some MHA fanfiction before watching this lmaoooo. Katsuki, I adore you~ I also adore Nobuhiko-san (Bakugo's voice actor). The way he lashed out at Izuku after his match was funny lolz, Katsuki really doesn't know what to do when he starts respecting Deku's friends haha

I love Uraraka vs Bakugo to me it was the best fight, also love when the rest of the class was telling him that he went hard on such a frail girl and his response was “ what was frail about her” I loved that, I think he respects her after their fight.

Also a dope but easy to miss thing in this episode is that bakugo doesn’t use urarakas name at the beginning of the match calling her round face (which he does with most of his classmates cuz he doesn’t bother learning their names) but towards the end of the match he uses her actual name showing that she’s gained at least some respect from him

I was just about to comment this. It’s such an easy detail to miss. I’m pretty sure it’s the first classmate that he’s called by name in the whole series too. There’s so much more to Bakugo’s character than the aggression and cockiness he shows on the surface; especially when you watch the series with full context of where the story goes

One really fascinating thing I saw ages ago that makes sense is that Bakugo is just a normal anime protagonist but from an outside perspective and without the "nice" wash that storytelling gives. He's driven, aggressive, prone to anger over anything that gets in his way and refuses to back down.
