You guys are about to get to the part of MHA where it picks up and just does not slow down. From here on out it’s just awesomeness after awesomeness. One thing also really like about MHA is that it does a really got job at showing the importance of team work. Each of their quirks have their weaknesses and they’re not always going to be able to deal with a problem on their own so they work as a team. It’s really dope to see everyone work together to win

Ron mentioned the long recap at the beginning of the episode. The primary reason for that is budget for new animation. This episode was very action heavy with a lot of people doing a lot of things at once. A long recap allows for the studio to focus on 12 minutes of exciting action animation while filling up the 24 minute time slot of the episode. Demon Slayer is another beast entirely because it is produced by ufotable, which is 'infamous' for having insane budgets for its properties. DS has some recap but generally it's much less than most other series.

Thiiiiis show follows some tropes but defies others. If you watch enough anime, you’ll see how the top 3, Midoriya, Bakugo, and Todoroki are all representative of a traditional “main character.” You can see Naruto’s brashness and drive in Bakugo for instance. In that way this show is a culmination, reflection, and exploration of anime heroes in general. Enjoy!

Ron, considering this is only your second anime(and Demon Slayer isnt known for flashbacks/recaps) them backtracking alot is very normal for anime. Wait until you get to Naruto and other animes.

Seeing you guys make predictions and theories from MHA and Demon Slayer is one of the things I really like about your content, especially with how you guys voice out your own thoughts instead of being just one sided about it! I can definitely imagine how many theories you guys are gonna make when you watch Attack on Titan and Michelle shouldn't worry much about whether she's wrong or being far off since literally ANYTHING can happen in anime, especially AOT. So I can't wait for that! :))

I mean, you might be overthinking it a *bit* since we know Endeavor is also the number 2 hero behind All Might, so it would make sense they have history but that's a good prediction, we'll see how it pans out, no spoilers xD Also for clarity, yes in a previous episode it said "Endeavor" was his father, it didn't call him Endeaver until the scene with All Might I believe, but it would regularly cut away to his face when Todoroki is commenting on not using his left and stuff (His fire side btw, which we also know) which would, for the keen viewer, clue you into the fact that that's Todoroki's dead, which would mean that's Endeavor

Most Anime episodes are actually released once a week. Most of them on weekends. So their style of using long recap is a way to stretch their playtime AND review previous events.
