God is just a title in Sky island and not necessarily like an actual God. God to the Sky people is the equivalent of a King to the Blue sea people. It plays on the whole Heaven, Angels theme that Skypiea has. Enel came from another Sky Island and over threw Ganfall and took the title of God (King).

A quick google search about "Sachi". First thing I found? A sushi restaurant LOL. It's a feminine name and I saw different meaning for the name depending on the Japanese origin or Hindu origin. They range from; Happiness - Fortune - Good Luck - Blissful - Child of Joy/Bliss. Either way, none of it bad. Also speaking of meaning of Japanese word. When Eneru says "I am god" It's actually a word play. He uses the word "KAMI nari" Kami = God Kaminari = Thunder/Lightning

It has already been mentioned that this power called "Mantra" is what allows certain people like Eneru or Aisa to sense things. And yes Eneru is not a warlord, it was also said in the episode that he comes from a sky island, just like his four priests. Zoro says: "I got most of the map memorized, anyway. It's to the right." Also Zoro: goes to the left I just love him and his non-existent sense of direction! 💚💚💚 And don't worry, you'll find out who this ghost is, but it'll take a while, but not too long, I promise 😂😂 I can't tell you enough, but in One Piece you have to be patient when it comes to answers to your questions. 😅😅

I know we're still in skypiea for the time being but I just wanna start saying it. The next arc after this is a mini arc called g8. It's filler but almost any one piece fan will tell you it's a MUST watch. If all filler was like that I wouldn't mind getting shit tons of it

It for sure feels more adventerous than the pre Water7 davyfight thats literally canon xo. But actually skipping every possible filler would be a go for me. G8, other good fillers and Movies can easily be watched as eventuploads like for christmas just go for a christmas special and watch Film Gold. And so on. Other than that i think G8 still fits very good as a watch AFTER being finished and ongoing. Whatever the outcome is im excited as hell.

One thing you shouldn't always assume, is that you should always take whatever the character is saying with a grain of salt, after all they say it from their own perspective. If they say its a ghost it doesn't mean its factually a ghost. Its with any media and i think the smartest writing is to let the character make assumptions instead of saying flat out the facts of this world.

When people say you don't know Luffy yet is because all these characters including him have future arcs that will develop what they are and how their goals are reached / evolve over time. We can't obviously explain more clearly because spoilers but there will be moments when every single one of them will be tested and their decisions towards the crew, their captain, the enemies they face and overall being up to the challenge or not will define them as actual known pirates in this world, so far it's a very happy go lucky journey with some bumps on the road that always show them more powerful enemies are in every corner of the world they go. So don't get upset that you don't get why Luffy is in a certain way, why Sanji missed big fights, why Nami and Usopp are kinda weak, all of them will have their moments with defining moments of acceptance or stepping up to the next level.

You are completely right btw. God. = King/leader. Eneru is playing a literal god. A lot of people have made the theory that Skypea is a micro version of the whole over arching story of One Piece. So just keep skypea in the back of ur minds. It is a lot more important than a lot of people think

Ron talking about Luffy, something interesting to me is the theory that Luffy just simply isn’t carefree but actually has some kind of issue like being on the spectrum. He can’t read social cues, is extremely carefree and has a lack of danger sense to the point he might accidentallt put his own crew at risk, and actually snaps when he really gets irritated. I think these makes him a very interesting main character

For the Bellamy discussion: Luffy didn’t do anything because Bellamy said he has no dreams, and thus he wouldn’t get in the way of luffy becoming pirate king and luffy also took inspiration from shanks and wanted to be like him. But after that because Bellamy hurt old man cricket and monkey bros, well, you know what happens when you mess with luffy’s friends. Hope this clears it up!

Was going to write this exact comment. Luffy and everyone else he faces are dreamers, while Belamy has given up dreaming and instead tries and manipulate what he sees in front of him. It's kind of funny cause I think the majority of people in the real world share Bellamy's perspective, we're not discover the next big thing or become someone great, so might as well try and get mine anyway possible. Obviously Bellamy is doing it in a toxic way, but it isn't inherently wrong, that's why Luffy didn't want to associate with him, he wasn't even worth fighting so he only deserves indifference, that is until he hurt his friends.

While this is your guy's first time viewing it, people here probably have watched the series multiple times over, or have read the manga many times, seen the explanation videos, read the Reddit threads, watch other reactors. I wouldn't worry too much from not catching things, especially this series where a lot of past events get brought up again and again so they reiterate some of the things you've missed. While the show is deep in it's world building and writing, Oda does hold your hand on the important things that he wants to convey, it just comes with continuing the watch the show.

I can confirm that Sachi carries the meaning happiness or blessing. It is a more poetic word than the more commonplace words with the same meaning. Nowadays, I most often hear the word used in the the context of food from the sea and food from the land (game, fruits, berries nuts and the like) being called "umi no sachi" (blessing from the sea) and "yama no sachi" (blessing from the mountain) respectively. I feel like the name fits even more because of nuance :)
