weird laughing like that is probably not that out of place. people have weird reactions to extreme stress/trauma after all. with all the adrenaline pumping, endorphins over being alive, their body and mind is prolly completely out of whack.

This work is a manga created in the 1990s. I'm Japanese, and there were very few manga at the time that had such a complete story. It's a wonderful piece of work. The final scene reminds me of friendship and reminds me of friends who have died.
