Watching the Sanji fight again, it was so well written. It was like a boxing fight. First testing their limits and seeing what each could do. Then throwing in the powers and finding the weakness in them. And finally when they are both worn down, it turns into a no holds bar fist (leg) fight where they will just keep attacking with no strategy until one goes down. Sanji even references the difference in their reach which is a common disadvantage in boxing.

“Arlong wasnt that bad.” - Michelle and Ron 2024 I think if Anime Arlong is your first impression of the character you dislike him more. He made the navigator cry. LA Arlong had a swagger about him that made him likeable, LA buggy as well.

Loved how the Usopp fight ended, and might be a little controversial with One Piece fans, but I'm with Ron in that the Sanji fight was a little drawn out. One of the things the netflix remake could fix is that fight lol.

I think they just mean that this is a One Piece episode, so it would be nice if the comments stayed about One Piece. My personal opinion is that the comments should stay about the current reaction post. Which mean that your comment is "fair game" according to my own opinion since they mentioned Black Clover. Also going to end by saying, that my opinion is my own and the only ones that should have the power to moderate comments are the Mods and Rice&Ginger themselves.

Oh man, how many times do we have to tell them that there will be no romance within the Straw Hats, lol 😂😂😂 The Straw Hats are all about true friendship! 💪🏻 I think, I would describe the relationship between Nami and Zoro as a brother-sister relationship. For Zorro, Nami is really like the annoying sister who is a year younger than him, who constantly bosses him around, but then plays the sweet, innocent girl in front of they're parents 😂😂 But even though she often drives him crazy, he is always there when she needs help because she is still his sister 💪🏻 Yeah, I think that describes their relationship quite well 😅

I'm in japan (Osaka) right now and two days ago i made a similar experience. Here the newest One Piece Manga is in like EVERY single supermarket. I wanted to have the newest and one of 2 years ago that is very influencial. The old grandma behind me (she was clearly about 80years old) told me where i can buy the old one as original and just casually spoiled me some main events that lead up to the newest version. I did know that one piece is common knowledge there but fr this country is full of spoilers bc its so common.

No anime will make u hate villians as much as op and it's sooo satisfying when they get beat it makes fights so much more meaningful and they even make some of those villians that u hate turn out to be ones that you love and want to be apart of the crew

idk if it's what michelle was thinking of, but when Mr 2 first met the straw hats from the island with the 2 giants, they ended up being friends just based off hanging with each other (obv before they knew they were enemies) but I think that helps a lot with his "neutralness"

almost positive they aren't random when its a major moment for a character. Like when sanji is having his fight and it breaks, it shows him. But during "down times" when theres not major fights happening it is random i think

just to freshen up your memories: Bon Clay did bond with the StrawHats when they were all headed to Arabasta,and he showed them his powers. They became friends pretty fast and from what you've seen and even said back then: he is not a bad guy. and he did kinda feel something when sanji reached out his hand to him and thought: this is a friendship between rivals, that moment was kinda sweet :) at least in my opinion
