There was a mess in the room and a girl walked slowly among this mess, looking for something with her eyes. She straightened her hair and bra, which were still wet from the pool, and finally found a towel. She slowly raised it and was about to dry her hair, but suddenly stopped abruptly in front of the mirror. Her hands slowly dropped to the level of her chest and she froze in this position, looking closely at her reflection without emotion.

Chet hated it. He hated his new life and the fact that he had to pretend to be Stacy and pretend that everything was fine, but most of all he hated seeing her reflected in the mirror. Every time ... no matter how much time passed, he could not get used to it. Stacey had dated Chet before Alt Shift, but that was a long time ago. They parted very badly and after that it seemed that nothing remained of their love, there was only hatred in each other and it only became stronger every day.

When Alt Shift happened, Chet exchanged bodies with Stacy, he was in great shock, but he was afraid to tell anyone other than Stacy. He had to call her and discuss it all, instead they decided that until they figured out they needed to maintain life as before the exchange. He was angry that he had received Stacy's body and that he not only had to communicate with her again, but also that he was now her! He thought it was just some kind of temporary body exchange like in the movie "Freaky Friday", so the plan to support everyone's life without telling anyone seemed logical, especially since he did not think that anyone would believe them.

Chet began to ruin Stacy's life as best he could. In their city, only they were victims of Alt Shift, so for everyone else everything was as before, and when they explained this event on TV and said about the law, it was already too late. Both Stacy and Chet didn’t want to go to the conversion camp, they didn’t even want the government to know that they were victims of this event, and soon Chet began to realize that he would have to come to terms with his new role for a long time.
