Back in the mid 90s, I lived in Culver City, Los Angeles with two roommates. One of them was my childhood friend, Eric Figueroa, who's also a musician and a clever lyricist. Well we were writing a lot of funny tunes back then, and one day our other roommate, Chris, just came back from a European trip. Apparently he stopped by Trader Joe's on the way from the airport and was sitting at the table eating a burrito when he said, "Ugh, this corn burrito is hideous, but I'm so hungry I'm gonna eat it anyway". Me and Eric looked at each other, and Eric said, "We should write a song about this", and I said ,"Yea and it should sound like 'Harvester of Sorrow' by Metallica, and then I started singing the chorus hahaha. Eric wrote all the lyrics and helped with the melody. This is my old 4-track cassette recording, which I now think is much better that the re-recording that I did 9 years ago. The drums were programmed on a Roland D-10 keyboard.
