Little art tutorial thing (Patreon)

I wasnt sure what to name this so yeah

Any ways some have asked how I do poses and I thought i would show a bit of my process for this pic I just finished

First I got an idea for the pose and I knew it was some thing I had seen before so I looked at that image for inspiration

Then I roughly sketched the pose, its always a good idea to exaggerate the pose in the rough sketch phase to avoid making a pose look too stiff. I still need to work on exaggerating poses

Then I try to fine tune things a bit by using simple shapes to block things out. Drawing things can be hard so its better to work out what they look like with simple shapes and then start detailing them

I didn't like her face and the size of her head so I changed those, I also didn't like how wide her legs where so I moved one leg in more

Even though I have drawn allot of Mega Man art I still have a hard time drawing the boots at this kind of angle so I took a photo of a Mega man figure I have. Dont be afraid to use ref if your having a hard time with some thing

Then it was on to inking and coloring, so yeah that's just one example of how I draw a pic and do poses
