So while I was working on last month's patreon pics I tried out some stuff that worked out pretty good. I thought it might be fun to share what I learned

First we will need to make a material. I just drew a random design and tried to make it look like it can loop. When it was all done and on one layer i clicked Edit>Register Material>Image

The "Materials Property" window popped up where I named it, set to be able to be scaled, set it tile and picked where the material will be saved

With the material saved to the spot I wanted I I made a new blank canvas. I then located my newly created material and dragged it on to the canvas.

Now with the material on the canvas and tiled I can adjust the size and shape, and even what directions it tiles

Here is the really cool thing that I wanted to show. In the tools property window you can set the mode to Perspective and by grabbing the corner points and pulling them in different directions it will put the material in perspective and still be tiled

this is great for like if you need to make a fence or a hall way with a detailed design in perspective

I had also tried to use this to make the time portal from Chrono Trigger and it worked pretty well, i just needed a better material

Any ways I just thought this was neat and I thought i would share
