After several years of on-and-off development, Dr. Mika has finally developed the Gelicar into the sort of half-useful, half-perilous device that forms the bread and butter of Gelitech's product line. The Geli-Taxi is the ultimate form of gelatinous transport, with quick response times, very low altitude flight capability, and a truly unique manner of holding its passengers snug and safe withing a solid mass of biogel that can change from crystal clear to opaque black depending on the rider's selected privacy level. There is truly nothing else like it!

Of course, with every great development comes some teething problems, such as the Gelicar's tendency to absorb its passengers in both body and mind. Granted, that was actually an intended feature, though the absorption rate was supposed to be something in the range of 1 in 20,000 rides or so. The initial production prototype Gelicars seem to have forgotten that, though, and have thus far absorbed almost every one of their test passengers. While the absorption was supposed to be a truly random event, numerous carefully monitored tests have revealed that the absorption of the test passengers is likely a deliberate act on the part of the Gelicar's biogel-bound controlling soul.
