She'd accepted her apprentices' gift of a custom gelipunik inspired 'utility cyborbody' without realizing that the control unit would treat such an acceptance as full consent to be personally installed in it. Now the shocked engineer can only float in the null-gravity field and experience the bizarre sensations of having her body converted into biogel and sucked up until all that's left is her arms, collarbone area, and head. If a few short moments, what remains will be installed in the cyborbody. But... did the apprentices configure it for standard cyborgirl reprogramming procedures? Or did they have something different in mind when they installed the direct brain interface?
