Many years ago i wanted to travel to Japan and make some experience at Shinto shrines helping the priestess and priests who worked there  (you can easily guess why).
Talking to an American friend who made this experience ( I didn’t manage to go at the end, sob!), i found out that the priestesses used to help at shrines until they got married and had a family, when it happens.. and that they were not engaged or didn’t have boyfriends or whatever bc they had to focus on their duties first (and had to be virgins 😄)

it makes perfectly sense that Kikyo wanted to get rid of the Shikon Jewel in order to stop being a priestess and start living a normal life with Inuyasha..  but it‘s pretty incredible that Kagome ended up to have the both worlds, becoming a priestess and building a family with the man she loved .. it proves how strong and extraordinary she is!

and then… we finally got some flashbacks of Inuyasha desperately trying to make the well work again…it was during one of those “three days”…🥺💔
