Some fun facts, Theo was originally written to be the love interest for Beca, but Anna Kendrick pushed back on it because of the problematic power dynamics with Theo being the music exec giving Beca her “big break” that was supposed to be based talent, not a romantic involvement. There was supposed to be an end version where Beca and Theo kissed, but Kendrick flat out said no. Kendrick, Snow, and basically the rest of the cast enjoyed leaning into the Beca/Chloe relationship, and Kendrick & Snow actually jokingly filmed an end credit kiss in hopes it would make the blooper reel, but Universal refused to put it in lol. It did get leaked eventually though 😂 Happy New Year! 🎉
