Hearing your thoughts on this movie was great even though it wasn't your cup of tea per say. I'll answer some of the questions you had. 1. King Kong actually was created before Godzilla, in 1933. 2. This movie was made using suitmation and miniatures. It was that way with this movie's sequels all the way into the 2000s. This is my second favorite Godzilla movie as it is one that I think really had something to say at a relevant time which was addressing the danger of nuclear tests. Godzilla himself was a symbol for nukes, and this movie was Japan's way of depicting the pain and destruction they endured from the real life nuclear attacks.
